Connect in three steps
Generate a scoped key
Open Settings → MCP Server. Read access is required; lead changes, automation control and AI generation are separate opt-ins.
Add the Streamable HTTP endpoint
Use the endpoint below and send the key as a Bearer token in the Authorization header.
Let the client discover the tools
Magent publishes the tool catalogue over MCP. Start with get_account_overview for a one-call picture of the workspace.
Endpoint and authentication
Magent currently authenticates remote MCP clients with scoped API keys. The raw key is shown once and only its SHA-256 hash is stored. OAuth sign-in is not available yet.

Four permissions, each tied to an effect
Every tool call is checked on the server. Existing keys retain their current access; new keys start read-only.

Read campaigns, lists, leads, signals, inbox conversations, deals, credits and account metrics.

Edit list rows, notes and reminders, approve or reject campaign contacts, and update deal stages.

Pause or resume campaigns, lead-finding agents and their individual signals.
ai:generateGenerate with AI
Create grounded reply drafts. Generation may consume credits; the result is returned as a draft only.

Connected accounts, conversations, messages and grounded reply drafts.
What an MCP client cannot do
There is no send-message tool. A client can draft a reply only when the key has ai:generate; sending stays in Magent under the account's caps, working hours and review mode.
Works with standard MCP clients
Use the generated snippets for Claude Code, Claude Desktop and Cursor, or configure any client that supports Streamable HTTP and custom Authorization headers.
